Beyond the Silence - A book review.

I received the book, Beyond the Silence by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse, in exchange for an honest review.  The book is historical fiction in a western setting.

When the chance to pursue the dreams of her parents presents itself to Lillian Porter, she leaves a life of wealth to become a Nanny to a young boy named Jimmy. The boy's father, Mr. Colton,  hopes that having a full time Nanny will help the boy to move beyond the grief of losing his mother and maybe even help him to speak again.  Because the town believes that Mr. Colton murdered his wife, Lillian is met by townspeople who urge her to turn around and go home.  Her stubbornness and faith in God help her to make the decision to stay even though she is wary of her new employee .

Through a drought that threatens their livelihood, mysterious happenings at the farm and then several medical emergencies this family unit is made stronger and justice comes to the town of Angel's camp.

This book had me during the first few pages and didn't disappoint throughout the body.  I fell in love with the characters and laughed and cried with them through the pages.  This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and will leave you satisfied at the end.
