Mother's Day Banquet and Date with the Children
Today was the mother's day banquet at our church. Several of us decorated tables for the event. Here's mine:
I decided that I didn't want to do fancy, but FUN! So, we had a beach party table. It was a great day! Mrs. Vickie Chandler spoke to us and reminded us of how important our jobs as moms are and to the teens how important it is to be thankful for Christian parents.
Tonight we had dinner with our oldest son, his wife and her parents and brothers. It was nice to all get together and have fun. Maybe one day we'll have a get together like that and we'll hear some exciting news! LOL Well, we have a big day of church tomorrow so......off I go.
